This was a childhood favorite. I not only loved playing, but watching gameplays of it on Youtube. It's the perfect game for teens as it has the edge and humor of other Rockstar titles without it being too explicit or violent. The setting's great, the characters (including the NPCs irrelevant to the story!) are all rather fleshed out, and the world genuinely feels real despite the cynical tone it takes about school life. I have the steam version, but it doesn't work well at all with modern hardware. Such a great relic of a game needs to be preserved. I want my own kids to have the same joy and thrill I had whilst playing this game as a kid.HeyThereGamers

I loved to play it on the PS2, hate to play it on Steam due to many techincally issues and hope to get the fixed version on GOG someday. Because owning a game does not mean that it is playable in these days and that is a shame!
Bully / Canis Canem Edit badly needs a re-release with some actual quality control. Talking to others, getting the version on Steam to run is a mess or intermittent problems and glitches, combined with busted framerates and crashes. The QTEs in the shop class minigame are absolutely scuffed for example, same with aiming during the scholarship edition exclusive Santa mission firing from on top of a roof.

Played this series back in the day until the disc got buggered, I'd like to buy the games I know I'll be playing for years to come on GOG, and this series is one of them.

this is a great game and memory for me, to me it always felt like it was meant to be an "endless" game but then you finished it, you got all the stuff and complete all the task's and job's, it was quite sad that you could easily 80%-90% the game just by play through it, always felt like it should of had more to it but it didn't. I would like this on GOG for one simple reason, so that it might get a upgrade/remake in twenty or so years, when the gaming industry has finally finished burning to ground and has started to recover, I would like to play this again.
the legendary PS2-memories Multitap matches were absolute chaos. I used to play with my cousins and friends fast-paced team play and the the gameplay is insane. trusted GOG with no viruses or ransomwere. if the game price is right much people will grab it. if price goes a little bit higher then people will go with the cracked/emulated version i like it.

This is the game that could bridge the gap of there being no Rockstar titles on GOG. Clearly deserving of a remake/remaster that will never happen it should at the very least be on the good old games preservation list. Sitting in my top Playstation 2 games of all time, Bully holds a special place in my heart that only it could fill. Definitely a product of its time and I was the perfect age for it when it released being almost the age of the main protagonist himself Jimmy Hopkins. The amount of things I could relate to playing this back in the day is almost staggering to think about. Honestly if Bully somehow makes it way over here on GOG I will cry tears of joy for I can finally play it again without painstakingly patching it just for the problems to persist.

When I was very young I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. I've been bullied in my entire school career. It started when I was 6, because I walked funny. It got way worse in junior high school (now called middle school), because I was unable to walk and used a wheelchair. In high school things got better, but not by much. I just remembered to add that I was also a "Nerd". That probably didn't help. I graduated in 1990 and I have since let it go. I have forgiven all of the bullies, but I will never be able to forget it, no matter how much I want to. I'm 53 years old and I'm still affected. I am on a ventilator now (since 2001), and I still get looks from some ignorant people in public. Even now, I am disliked, just because I am disabled. This game is therapy for anyone who was bullied. It allows us to confront bullies in a safe environment, without hurting anyone. Even in the game, I don't think any of the NPCs get mortally hurt. And I'm not a proponent of real violence, but we all have the right to not be bullied. I say this game rocks! It should be preserved.
Took me 3-4 times to beat this game for good. I'm glad I stuck around this time. Has a slow start but the later half is when things start to get crazy for our MC Jimmy Hopkins. Felt like a mini GTA spinoff game focusing on the school aspect. PC port is definitely not in the greatest shape (others in the PC community can attest to that). If the rest of Rockstar's catalogue doesn't come over to GOG, this would be the next best thing and a good candidate for the Preservation Program to tackle.
Those games also need your vote!
Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
