I am writing to request that the upcoming cozy tailoring simulation, Dressmaker, be brought over to GOG. Developed by Cozy Lives and published by Free Lives, the game is officially launching on Steam on September 21, 2026. It features incredibly unique, tactile crafting and dressmaking mechanics that have already generated a massive amount of community excitement.I am a big supporter of DRM-free gaming and think this title would be an absolute perfect fit for the GOG library. I actually want to purchase a copy as a gift for my mom, who completely adores creative, cozy management games like this. I have officially added it to the GOG Dreamlist to help rally votes and show developer interest.If the GOG team could coordinate with Free Lives to make a release happen, you can absolutely count on an immediate day-one purchase from me. This is a game that I am very interested in playing and one that I would love to come to GOG. Games like these are so niche and sadly the more niche something is, the more likely it is to fall into obscurity. I don't want that to happen to this game as it looks so charming and fun. Please consider bringing it to the site so it can be preserved!

I checked out a video by MadMorph (cozy content creator). This has certainly taken the streamer and content creator culture by storm since it's launch. The premise of the game is like from a bygone era of flash made dress-up / Barbie studio games. As this is published by Free Lives, there's a good chance of this coming over as they've released other games on GOG before. I'd still suggest getting in touch with the devs over on their Discord and their various socials (Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, & YouTube). Ask them to bring it over to GOG! This would do very nicely for cozy gamers like myself.

Easily one of thee best games I've played. This game hits a huge market of dress-up, but it shines with creativity, heart, and specificity. You can tell that this game was made with the knowledge and skill of those with interest and expertise in sewing, fashion, and the like. I would love to be able to play this game forever with a DRM-free version.

I've heard about this game and as a son of a Dress designer It looks amazing This game could help design amazing dresses to make them IRL. Too bad girls in my country don't wear dresses anymore

I am sometimes sewing myself and I quite enjoy it. But buying that much fabric and ornaments would bankrupt me. In hopes to be able to give life to my ideas, I would like to vote for this game.

This thing looks so cozy that I might just "break the rules" and buy it twice. Plus the story behind how the game came to be is quite the tale of love. Whatever anyone at GOG can do to try and bring this one here, do so... it might not sell in droves, perhaps... but it deserves to be here. More of a gem than most AAA releases of nowadays.

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
