WarCraft 2 (and yes, that was the original title) was the very first RTS I had the pleasure to own. Unfortunately, it's near impossible to acquire legally in this day and age, let alone a version that was left as the original developers intended. The 'Remastered War Chest' is a horrifically flawed product that was dubiously outsourced and unethically ported to modern hardware that makes it the worst version of the game to own.
I'd gladly support a properly modernized rerelease of the game, instead of a LLM-upscaled crapbox that can't even get the menu art right.
Side note, if you're going to bring it up to modern accessibility, just friggin' hire Nightdive or a similarly well-respected company (Respected by the community, not a corporate nothingburger recommendation.). Don't let Aspyr and their ilk lay their greasy fingers on one of my favorite RTS titles.
