I don't tend to play Warhammer 40k games, so I am out of the loop with the new releases for most of the time. My experience with Warhammer 40k games so far has been with those of Relic, so I decided to try the first Boltgun because I saw it in one of GOG's suggestions.
I was blown away by it. Maybe for a lot of players it is just one game more, but to me it was fantastic; some of the levels felt a bit repetitive but the action was enough to not make me think about it. The variety of enemies increased the more I progressed and I was very happy of fighting aberrations that simply won't appear in those games of the brand I played so far, deepening the feeling of being in the middle of an all out war against the Chaos forces. All of that was from the first game, because I haven't played the second as I am waiting it to be on GOG, but given what I have read and seen about it, it will be a game I will truly enjoy like the first one.
