Really wanted regional pricing in India because we get low income compared to other countries Currently $1=₹63. So paying a new game at full price is impossible to Indians, we will get food for a whole month for the price of a AAA game($59.99). So GOG please reduce piracy and give regional pricing in India
Yes we really need this. Whenever I make a transaction on gog, it is labelled as an international transaction, hence the government taxes this transaction. On top of the more economically expensive pricing, we are made to pay an extra!
Please implement UPI and some kind of regional pricing for India. we are not cheap, we just wanted fairness and convenience . thank you...
Yes please. Please add INR currency & UPI payment option for Indian buyers.
+1
Please add regional pricing and UPI payments
gog please. the GFN only supports the gog version of the witcher 3 complete edition. I really wanna buy it.
GOG please add UPI i wanna purchase swat 4 so badly
I've been eagerly waiting for GOG to officially enable regional pricing & Indian currency support with UPI. I don't wish to buy from any other platform. I wanna own my own games. India needs GOG. Urgently. UPI is 50% of global digital payments. Can't believe we still can't get UPI on GOG. Support Indian Gamers. Please... I beg you.
bruh please. and 1 USD = 95.6 INR :(E33 and NMS are waiting in my cart for like forever.
If steam can do it, why not GOG?
Hey GOG, don't make it bad. Take INR payment methods and make it betterrrr. Remember, to let us into your store, then you can start to make it better. Hey GOG, don't be afraid. You were made to go out and get my wallet. The minute I am able to buy Silent Hill 4, then you begin to make it better. And anytime you feel a doubt, hey GOG, refrain, don't carry the weight of Steam on your shoulder. For well you know that it's a fool, who plays it cool, by letting DRM into their store page. Na-na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na. Hey GOG, don't let me down. You have found my wallet now go and get all the cash! Remember to add that UPI payment as well, then you can start to make it better. So add that pricing and add that UPI support, hey, GOG, begin, You're waiting for players to buy from your storepage. And don't you know that it's just you, hey, GOG, you'll do, the money you need is right on your shoulder. Na-na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, yeah. Hey GOG, don't make it bad, take a sad situation in gaming industry and make it better. Remember to add that UPI payment, then you can snag all money from my wallet, wallet, wallet, wallet, wallet, wallet, wallet, oh!!!(I think there might not be enough word count for me to add in the four minutes of "Na na na na na na" in here, but you get my point.
Add regional pricing please
this aged like milk, today $1 = ₹95
Yo, yo, yo, GOG. Hey you be looking very sexy if you just add that INR pricing and a way to pay with UPI sweety-pie.
Regional pricing when ?
They do have Gpay as a payment option but not regional prices :(
yes please add regional pricing in india and introduce some local pay methods like upi which is already being offered by steam and epic
I agree
Yeah, especially when Steam been offering regional pricing for ages and a way to pay with INR including the addition of UPI recently. Even Epic & EA storefronts offer regional pricing so a site GOG not offering that is strange especially in this day and age.
Living in Germany, a rich country, I can understand the wish, but I'm worried about the potential consequences.First of all, GOG already has got regional prices; I don't remember where I've read about it, but somebody has sorted that out and published somewhere. Now what if they made a "really cheap edition" for India? I could rent a server there with an "indian IP", with an automated selling system, german language web site and re-sell almost everyrthing from their store cheaper than GOG itsself (to german customers) at a profit for me – even after deduction of server costs. It would at least need to enforce payment in rupees via an indian bank to stop peopoe like me from doing that from abroad (it's generally difficult and/or expensive to get a bank account in a country you don't live in), but this won't stop Indians from doing exactly that. They'd collect the Euros from EU customers via Paypal, for example. The comparison with Valve is somewaht unfair: they rely heavily on geolocking, DRM, and everything else you do NOT want as a customer. They make it deliberately sifficult to download and play games without using their steam client, so all of your "purchased" games can be gone one day, just because they go bancrupt, get bought, or another reason. You don't want GOG to eventually become like Epic or Valve, do you?
I really GOG's DRM free model But I ain't buying at those US prices especially since hardware is so much more expensive here. First of all bring support for INR as a currrency option we do not wish to pay extra for currency conversion on top of more expensive games.
Bring regional pricing
Regional pricing is the only thing holding me back right now to shift my purchases from steam to gog as i believe in drm free games.
do regional pricing and domestic payment and see the differencce
Please add regional pricing for India, pricing that reflects local purchasing power would make GOG so much more accessible for players here. Thank you
Would love to buy stuff from GOG than other stores. Hope regional pricing for India makes its way to GOG.
Like legit, if GOG adds regional inr pricing to India, you all will never see me on Steam ever again. Since my steam library is already 95% games that were released between 1992-2012, and the rest are indies.
please add pricing and prices according to India
I prefer GOG over Steam but Steam just has superior pricing and I can't say no
you can use debit card i also use my rupay debit card
is there no other way???? i dont have a credit card but do have a debit card
Please bring regional pricing to GOG
Honestly I would shift to GOG for all titles that would be available here if this happens
Yes, I routinely come back to GOG after hearing its praise, and then realize that it doesn't have regional pricing. Please consider adding this feature. I assume this is difficult because of the anti-DRM policy. But please figure out something, we are dying to buy from here.
+1 this has been a long overdue
Please add Regional pricing for India.
Now it's 86 inr
gog plz add more currency like egypt , india , turkey if you added more currency we will buy from you
GOG please make it happen. It will benefit both the customer and you. I myself want to play most of the old games and also new ones. GOG is a very good game store for it happen. The only thing stopping everyone in India to use GOG is not having this feature.Because of this most buy games on Steam without having any options left.
I don't see why this is taking time.
yes i really want them to introduce regional price in India. I like GOG but can't buy their games because of no regional price in India
So true. If they add regional pricing, I am not buying anything from steam. GOG all the way.But right now, GOG cost is too high compared to steam.
yes gog has so many old games support that even steam doesn't have add Indian currency and see the market share grow, consider got
Add regional pricing for India!!!!
So my opinion may sound a little harsh and may be very unpopular for most people but I think different incomes in different countries have their *reasons*. Different incomes are the results of different performances of two economic zones and, eventually, the economic power of the individuals in it. What worth is a different salary if prices are constantly adjust for that difference. Why would a graduate from Harvard University want to continue his or her highly skilled work if his or her salary is eventually leveled to the salary of a chaiwala.
I have Cyberpunk on me, but I can't get Phantom Liberty just because looking at the price here is crazy, and when I compare it to Steam I so much wish I had purchased the game there. The gap between the prices on GOG and Steam goes nearly up to $5, it's not a small amount!
yeah i also want to buy games from here because i also support DRM free games but the prices way more here than on and epic. GOG should consider India as there main market too otherwise steam will always be number 1.
Please add this! I would like to purchase from this website if it had Indian pricing. I prefer DRM Free games over Steam, but for now, I am only buying games from Steam. I do not want regional pricing as it may be difficult for Gog to manage. It is best to follow a similar strategy as Steam, with just one price throughout India, similar to an average.
Don't worry guys, soon these AAA companies will start charging $70 for their Steam games even in India which will make the GOG releases competitive.
