Don't buy it on Steam, its rather clunky and buggy. First time i played it back in 1998, and on first site i thought it was 8 world wonder! I own a SNES copy of the game now and i gladly go back to replay it every now and then. This is a true JRPG game that everyone should experience, and i am confident if it comes on GoG the GoG team will port it right.SharpeThe1st

I played this game for the first time on an NES emulator that a friend put on my highschool laptop, like over a decade ago now. I fell in love with it but I kept breaking my own save files. I bought the Steam version and have beaten that a couple of times, but honestly the version steam used has built in poor emulation management. Please give us a good version legally on the internet.
Chrono Trigger is a story about time travel, a quest that starts out in a village, but goes through different eras, influencing history of the human race. This is the jRPG, created by designers of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest - the masterpiece, the definition of it's genre, one of the best games. Crono - silent protagonist, a boy living in the year 1000 A.D., he jumps into a mysterious time portal to save his friend Marle. Time-traveling in Chrono Trigger is something, that sets aside this game among other titles, showing to the player different eras, and your actions in the past are influencing the future; you can see the entire existence of a planet - from the start and to the apocalypse. You control a party of 1-3 characters, battling your enemies right where you have find them. If you want to fight, you can, if you not - you can try to avoid them. Every character has an Attack and can use Items. Third option is Tech - skills, magic spells and support with separate heroes, but you can use help from others, forming a powerful combo. Chrono Trigger innovated concept of a "New Game +". It helps to go through story faster, so you can find and achieve other endings. Amazingly detailed game, areas don't get yourself bored and puzzles are challenging. At some point game developers commented that creating each battle scene took nearly as much time and effort, as making storyline cutscenes, because there are different ways that a battle could begin. The OST for Chrono Trigger is incredibe, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu. Every music part fits each era so perfectly, so the story swallows you deeper with it's atmosphere. Lifetime experience, which will be hard to forget.

I loved this game as soon as I started playing it, it's a shame I never finished it. I remember that I stayed for the race part because I always lost, then I played a bit of Live Alive and it seemed somewhat similar to me but I want to finish both.

Best. Game. Ever. Epic time traveling story. Memorable characters. Great soundtrack that I still listen orchestra playing them on YTB. Revolutionary combat mechanic with double triple techs and real time filling bars. This is the golden stantard to compare every RPG game with.

One of the best JRPG game on SNES. Story, gameplay, are so unique at the time it release. It a piece of gaming history, and it is shame that if it forever locked by digital DRM. Hope one day we can get it from GOG and play it anytime, anywhere we want.
This game is available for PC, but it can't be for Super Nintendo because there won't be a Chrono Trigger CD-ROM for Super Nintendo, nor a Japanese version of Chrono Trigger CD-ROM for PlayStation, nor a CD-ROM for Nintendo DS, nor for mobile devices, iOS, or Android; it will only be available for PC
I'd love to see the snes version here. Though I have the physical og jp sens version id like to play the English one. My older bother got me into to it so I'd like to relive that a bit.
oh mu god? the first chrono trigger rescused in pc? GOG PLEASE RESCUSE IT, This game has many variants in the endings, premature endings, little variations, good gameplay, akira toriyama art, i dont know what version have to rescuse, but, any its userfull.
I was actually suprised this wasn't already on GoG when I went to go look for it during the Square Enix sale. Someone needs to make this happen! It's one of, if not the best RPG from the SNES era and it needs to live on for people to easily find without having to jump through emulator hoops.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.
