If anyone seen the Bioware news lately, the EA has shut down BioWare Developer team, October 21, 2026. It's more important now than ever, that we try to preserve incredible game. I played Mass Effect 1-3 many years ago 2008 or 2009. I loved how the story choices carried over into the next game changing the story outcome. It was just something to look forward to, to see what was going to happen next. I enjoyed all of the characters Tali, Kasumi, the Geth, and many other great characters that i can't remember off the top of my head. And there was that one side quest, "UNC: Rogue VI" , had a mission to Take over some facility. Someone's heart and soul went into making these stories and quests or missions, it's all just really really good stuff. If you haven't played it, pick it up now while you still can and play it. These games and their DLC, for the 3 Mass Effect games, Really need to be Preserved for Gaming History. I don't want to see this game become like what happened to the racing game "The Crew", it's just gone. Millions of players has played it, and the company decided to shut it down, and gone, unplayable into the black hole of nothingness. Isn't there something we can do, to save Mass Effect? It's a Great Story Driven Game, Amazing Sound Track, Awesome Planet Mining Mini Game. Save their installer files some how, and make it available for everyone here who wants to keep playing a timeless classic? Share it with their family and friends? The one Feature I love of gog games, is the offline installer. I can save it to a dvd disc, and have my hard copy back up. I haven't seen anyone else that made this a thing. I just hope this can happen here. <3 Is there anyone out there, Who can help save Mass Effect Trillogy?!?!
Bioware is dead, rather, it was killed, and this brilliant series is now at real risk of disappearing permanently. I bought the original 3 games and then the Legendary Edition on Steam, but would do it all again if it meant I could protect it from the long DRM arm of EA.

Mass Effect is probably tied with Warcraft for my favorite game series of all time. I actually got to the party late, I didn't playthrough this trilogy until probably 7 years ago or so, but I have played through these games dozens of times now. I would absolutely love to be able to get this game on GOG especially with the closing of BioWare. I will never forget my first playthrough, not knowing anything, not optimizing my route, and just discovering stuff in the game. I actually have Commande Shepherd and Tali tattooed on me as part of my right arm sleeve!

there a lot of stuff i can say and what not and try to make the mass effect games sound great but in the end it's YOU that have the say, but i can say this at least you choices have meaning in the games and yes they DO carry on from one game to the next one so what you did in mass effect 1 can change stuff in mass effect 2, and you can good times and bad times hell the game made me even cry a few time too, but in the end you need to step up and head face first in in unknow and face the choices that you will have to make commander shepard.
This game is one of the OGs that brought forth a franchise that people that did played it, couldn't get enough of it. Getting a taste of which alien I get to date in my ship while saving the galaxy on the side. I managed to played the first game. Gotten too much work to play the other 2 in the trilogy. I may have been spoiled on what happened on the internet when Mass Effect was at it's peak, but that doesn't mean I know what happens in between the first game, and the disappointment. To be able to play thing game and not have EA breathing down my back with whatever DRM they have would give me a chance to go through it and actually see what happened throughout the entire series.

I'll keep this simple, either ported the OG to GOG without any DRM that EA made and let modders do the rest by patching the controller issues, or port the Legendary Edition. I don't care either way. The thing with the Steam release, you still need the EA DRM, that wouldn't let you play offline. It was annoying! So, to protest that, I sailed to the high seas! F@#K you, Andrew Wilson and your greedy marketing for not making this game DRM-free.

M.E. 3 Launch day. Blasting through Story and loving it. " Multiplayer " has entered the chat. Joining a session and finding that there is absolutely NO anticheat / memory protection. ZERO. " All right boys and girls who love them a great story but hate the tedium of a badly grafted on FORCED multiplayer component... The CANDY VAN is here! " *Gives anyone who joins my multiplayer session ALL the GoodZ* ENJOY! FANTASTIC HIGH as we ride down to mediocrity town with an endgame COLOR choice. we11F|_|ckTHATsucked.jpEg *Turns off game and does not play for another 13 years.* OverALL: 4000 / 10 Would recommend to my local high seas librarian for " archival " purposes. ᓚᘏᗢ 4K

Just loved the whole trilogy, how choices from each part influence the story and characters' developments in later parts. I made three or four separate playthroughs of the whole trilogy, one for every romance combination I liked. I liked the weapon-cooldown combat system in the 1st a lot more than the ammo-based one in the sequels. Being an ammo hoarder I avoided any shooting builds in all sequels (Andromeda too) The game mechanic bonuses from playing through with different classes made replays more fun. Luckily some people uploaded all the elevator and vehicle and cockpit talk combinations to youtube =) I would have preferred having an option of both Shepard's and the AIs' (Eve and that other robot) simultaneous survival in the ending. co-op multiplayer was also enjoyable for me despite the grindyness. They could just reuse the voiced encyclopedia from the first game in all equels. After listening to the whole of it I ignored most encyclopedias in the sequels. Maybe add an option where Shepard/the player could listen on it like on a walkman/MP3 player during normal gameplay (e.g. during long drives on planet surfaces) and whenever dialogue would come up because of the gameplay the encyclopedia recording could pause automatically, like someone would pause an audiobook when asked for the time on the bus.

These are among my most favorite games of all the time, while the first one was a bit clunky, I love epic adventures, especially in a sci-fi setting. I got really immersed in the story and the fights are interesting enough and controllable enough to keep it interesting, rather than annoying. I spent many a night wanting to find just a little bit more of the story. The universe and places are so well fleshed out as well, and there is always something interesting to find out. It is also great when there is a lot of lore to be found, and it is not only pushing forward at max speed to get to the next checkpoint, but you can also live and breathe the world. I really want to get my hands on this, DRM-free, so I can keep it for play later. I want to play it again!
Those games also need your vote!
Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
