Why I Want the Original Resident Evil Code: Veronica X on PC
My connection with Resident Evil Code: Veronica goes back approximately 26 years, when I owned a Sega Dreamcast. Code: Veronica was one of the games I experienced during that era, and it's a game I've remembered fondly ever since.
I've been a Resident Evil fan for a long time. One of the things I particularly enjoy about the series is going back through the games, discovering everything they have to offer, unlocking bonus weapons, finding hidden content, and replaying them to accomplish things I might have missed the first time. I'm a completionist, and Resident Evil games have always given me plenty of reasons to come back for another playthrough.
Unfortunately, time has passed. I no longer own my Dreamcast, or any other gaming console. I gave away my PS4, and my current gaming is done on a Windows PC through Steam.

I even started looking into purchasing an original PS2 copy just to get the game running on my computer. Some unopened collector's copies are selling for hundreds of dollars. I don't want a collector's item. I just want to buy the game, install it, and play it.
With the upcoming Resident Evil Veronica remake, I think this is the perfect opportunity for Capcom to bring the original Code: Veronica X back to modern platforms.
There are longtime fans like me who would love to revisit the original experience. There are also new
