That'd be great if it happens but they will have to be very careful with so many things. I'd love to see the game fully voiced one day! I assume they will remake the original game eventually and not the current EE right? Because even though the new companions are not liked my most people I personally like the additional classes for companions - I absolutely love it actually esp the blackguard - its perfect for evil groups. This is something they can change eventually and add something like in IWD where u can pick your own companions.
Geromino: Yes its needlessly overcomplicated, and the class balance is much, much worse than in D&D5 (where you can really pick whatever class you like and it will be great). But its own quirkiness is fun, too.
I remember when I first played it and I had to read for a few days but I got used it eveuntually. I started playing a pathfinder game recently I have to say this feels like a million times worse than the d&d rules.
For me the 2nd edition was the the best for arcane casters - by far the most enjoyable wizard I have played in any RPG. Yet to find something better. You have so many options and there is so much going on in a battle with magic
