I wonder if there are more games like Flatout series and Carmageddon series where you can race and destroy cars so they can't finish the race anymore since destroyed. Without any punishment for destroying their cars.
The games could be old or new. I just wanna put it on my games list, just incase i get a system that can run new games one day.
Destruction Derby, of course!
and ridge racer

Oh i have a cd of Destruction Derby 2 for pc but don't know if it still works or if i could ever make the sound work.

Edit: it works but i never properly played it so trying now. All sound work but it's weird when i try to steer left or right the camera also goes left or right . Gonna read the manual to see what is going on.

btw, just played rig racer for a bit since its only 1,5 gb of space ( even upscales to 4k without any problem at all )

the problem with ridge racer is that other racers are not removed from the race if you manage to subdue them in any way

Death rally is an example where you can finish alone

and most noteworthy might be need for speed games that involve cop chases ( such as most wanted ( not the 2012 one but the 2007 version ) where you need to destroy cop vehicles as one way to escape from their escapades
while not exactly what you are looking for nfsu is most certainly tense and worthwhile in execution

Twisted Metal series is my all time favorite car beat em up.
now that you mentioned flatout gog need to bring flatout ultimate carnage.

the only game that comes to my mind now is dirt showdown + grid 2 with the demolition derby dlc.

ah yea dirt showdown is indeed another one good for mentioning, i have that one too but i belief it is not for sale anymore, as is grid 1 & 2 or maybe only grid 1 is not for sale, i'm not sure anymore.. something to do with licenses past their running agreement

Yes they are not available anymore but I believe they were given free before or you can find the jack sparrow edition. If I remember correctly the demolition derby in Grid 2 is not as good as dirt showdown but probably its best to check some gameplay videos first if interested.

DeathRally?

It's free too on Zoom Platform.
Wreckfest, Grid Autosport (destruction derbi mode not in a arena but on track, not really fun but my nephew loves it), Grip, Rollcage and Burnout

You can destroy opponents freely in DethKarz (here on GOG). One of the better racing games I've played.
While it's not exactly a racing game per se, when it comes to car combat, I can't think of any game that pulled it off better than I'76.
Sounds like being a London Uber driver is the ideal job. Seriously though, Burnout and Twisted Metal are the best alternatives.
