Hi Forum
Now I found this in the community wishlist when I was looking for good survival horror and fatal frame like games for PC:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/dreadout

I did buy the game on a certain other digital distributor, I like DreadOut a lot and I even contacted the developers if they'd consider it to release the game on gog.
They never answered for that matter *sad panda*.
So what do you guys think about this game? Have you even been aware of it? I find it a bit sad the wishlist only has 81 votes, I have the feeling any survival horror fan would be interested in it.
Obviously the game does have quite a bunch of weakspots, mainly relying on a mix of atmospheric horror (which is done great) and jump scares (which get old quickly but are still pretty well done in the game).
So I'd like to know what the gog community thinks about it and if people see any chance for this game to make it to gog. I'd instantly buy it a second time no doubt :D

Greets,
Roin

PS I did play it a bit and recorded that:

The only thing I have heard about the game is that it's like a less polished version of Fatal Frame. And it's apparently DRM-Free on Playism, but the store lacks the newly-released standalone expansion, Keepers of the Dark.

Hm I see, well I think saying less polished fatal frame is a little bit unfair, but that's the way I saw it in the beginning as well.
The game simply isn't fatal frame but overall it is a good game imho and it should be on gog :'( (espacily if it had been released DRM free somewhere else)
Their studio is not far from me, I'll ask them to response your mail. :p

I think I also mixed up indonesia with sinagpore when I was talking about this game on stream.
I'll self facepalm right now for a bit ^^'

Well, I already voted for this a long time ago. I like this game a lot, the demo really got me interested in buying the full game, however, I was hoping to see it on GOG, but so far nothing.

We have had at least a couple of threads about it:

Hmm... I was not aware of this game, but am very interested. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I have added my vote to the wishlist and would love to see it released here.
Looks awesome, added my vote. :)
Very uneven game. Some aspects of it like the Indonesian folklore or unique gameplay mechanics towards the end are great while others are so bad they almost kill the game-namely the voice acting, performance/bugs, and frustratingly obtuse puzzles.

Hm voice acting dunno I never gave much of a thought to such things, didn't seem too bad to me (just look at the german voice acting in Resident Evil 6 *shudder*).
Performance/Bugs well I did have a slow down and discovered some minor bugs but nothing game breaking for me *yet* taking into account I have round about 1.5 hour play time in this the big shit could hit the fan.
Frustrating obtuse puzzles.. hm... 1.5 hours in and I dont think I had a single thing that I'd consider a puzzle yet. However what I found annoying was the fact that there is no indication of an illusion that can be bypassed using your smartphone. They should at least give people a clue or otherwise you wont make it though the first 5 minutes of the game without googling methinks.
Overall I like this game a lot and would give it a 4/5, simply because it gives something that I kinda miss in recent game development: atmospheric, involving survival horror.
The only other games that I could name that are of a higher caliber would be the Resident Evil Revelations games (both) and those aren't on gog either.
I think gog should try to work on its survival horror selection since first person adventrues with horror atmosphere or walking sims with monsters do not quite cut it on the long run for me :(

This took me half an hour. >_<
Kept walking around trying to find something I missed.
Even restarted the game due to thinking it was bugged.

I sent them email as well few months ago and never got their reply. It would be such a nice addition to GOG catalog.

Same here :D
But yeah seen worse in indie gaming when it comes to stuff like this, once you figured that out the game works out just fine I'd say.

No worries, It's happen all the time. :)

I'm still waiting for a physical copies release but unfortunately they haven't decided yet, least for what I'm seeing on their FB page posted.
