Well, GOG sends out a mail stating what games are released that week, so get a notification of sort. But not specifically a wishlist entry as there is no standardisation on the that, wishes for diablo, series of diablo games, D1+2+3 etc. How would they know to send you a notification?

Because there is a page where customers can vote on new features and also games which should appear on GOG. So as soon as you have voted they know to notify you.

Yes, but that page is not controlled. Say I create a new feature request for: ALTERNATIVE SEARCH, now GOG releases a new feature called ADVANCED FIND, how would an automatic system know the two are the same? This is what I mean by the requests not following a standard pattern, so it would make sending out an automatic email quite difficult.

They actually did this once -- when System Shock Enhanced Edition was released here, they sent e-mails to everyone who had voted for it.
Of course, they also sent a slightly different e-mail (without the "You voted for it -- now it's here!!!" part) to everyone else, so the voter-specific message was kind of pointless.

...What does Lucasfilm have to do with anything?
Or is that just a new, hip phrase that I haven't heard before?
"Working hard, or hardly working?"
"I'm half-assing it like Lucasfilm, yo!"

GoG marks wishlisted games and features as fulfilled or being in progress. I'd say that fulfilling a request is enough for sending a message to those who voted for it.

On another note, it would be cool to see all the my votes.
That feature would be nice :)
