I just got around 20 “An item you’re interested in is now available for purchase” emails along with the notifications on the site. This includes games that have been out for weeks and months like Unreal World. Wtf is going on… Is anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: I just got another one!!

Yeah, I just received a whole slew of them.

Would be better if they could just fit them all into a single email.
It's happening to me, too. Are they idiots? It must be some incompetent person—or worse, an AI agent.
Must be an error. Its late to be done by a person - probably an automated process

It's gonna get added to automated e-mail filters, at this rate.
Super annoying, spamming me about games I'vr already purchased or have removed from the wishlist

Ehh, I was kind of wondering if it was just me. Started getting blasted by emails for a lot of games that I already have. Sometimes games I put on my wish list to watch, but decided to not to buy when the reviews for them were not great.

It's pretty annoying, but ehh... it is what it is.
Same thing is happening here. I have all my notifications turned off. I have the option for getting emails from GoG turned off. I am still getting them. I even removed a bunch of games from my wishlist, and lo and behold. GoG sent me Wishlist emails for them an hour after I had removed them.

I am curious to know what fucking retard they hired to fuck this up. I genuinely want a name, since at this point it counts as harassment.

I am going to give every game they spam me with a 1 star, from now on.

Edit: the notifications are also happening on the main store page, not just via email. And I seem to be getting pop ups in GoG Galaxy with that crap too.

People who use AI Agents usually are idiots, since a dumbed down mess of an AI Agent is (by their employer) considered a more vialbe option.

No email spam going on for me but man those alerts popping up.
Same going on here for me. I've gotten 30-40 emails over the past hour. About to block GoG until they fix this.
(made a dumb joke; decided I'll just not get involved)

X is now available for purchase!

But, I already own X...

That's a problem in general on GOG even without this error. Many times i've gotten little "recommended" game sections on the front store page where I own like 90% of the "recommended" games shown. You'd think they would program it to not show owned games there...

I doubt they ever have people sending all these emails. Pretty much everything is automated now. It's annoying. I don't know why companies think people read all this garbage.

It's a bug as reported in the what did just break thread. I already cleared 8 and now have another 44 notifications on top. Now where's that petition to bring back the original pre-2014 site design...
