@flowingshard123

First of all, thank you for organizing this, I'm enjoying the guesswork so far.

Secondly, I'd like to ask about your approach on several matters that don't seem (100%) clear to me (yet):
A. (I'm not using number to not confuse with guesswork) Are people who post more than 3 games per day automatically out of contention (as I see some are persistently doing that)?
B. How are you gonna decide on ambiguous entries for titles like RE4? There are 2 different versions that could appear (original & remake) on GOG and they are not the same game. So, if someone enters for Resident Evil 4, not indicating which version, are they automatically considered for whatever version gets released or not (as that seems to me like cheating a bit if we have only 3 guesses available)?
C. Since we know this even will last until Nov 5th (according to GOG's news post about the sale event), we'll have 8 or 9 rounds (days), if a person know they won't be able to post for a few days (being away from their beloved computer) could they enter for multiple days just by indicating (e.g. My entries for Days 5-7: game1, game2, game3)?
DAY 3:
1. Final Fantasy Pixel Remastered
2. NieR:Automata
3. Persona 5 Royal

You might have to make a new post then. That's what I had to do.
I'm going to assume that the no editing clause is there so people don't change their guesses just when the game has been revealed.

First of all, thank you for organizing this, I'm enjoying the guesswork so far.

I also am enjoying the guesses from participants. Regarding your questions,

A) If participants are posting more than 3 guesses per day then I might accept only the first 3 or I won't count their guesses. It is really up to me and how I decide to do it.

B) RE4 is a popular title and a lot of participants would like to win that game. Just because a participant guess RE4 correctly for that particular day it does not mean he/she will automatically win. There may be 5-10 other people that guess it correctly for that day as well. If a participant guess RE4 2014, another guess RE4 2021 and a third participant guess RE4. If RE4 2014 get released, I may just give it to the person who guess RE4 2014 or I may just throw all 3 of them in a drawing, it is up to me to decide. There are participants that are guessing the same games everyday so far to maximum their chances of winning that particular game. They are allow to do that.

There may be more than 1 really good game that is release for a particular day. For example Day 2 Main game is Hell Is Us. Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos also released today fortunately (for me) and unfortunately no participant guess it. Either way it was up to me whether or not I wanted to giveaway Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos as well. I try to have flexibility for myself if needed.

C) I set up the giveaway in this format because it is easier for me to keep track of things this way. I did think about other formats however I did not want to do them because this format benefits me the most (or at least I think so). If a participant decide to post their guesses for each day in 1 post and organize it really well then I may consider to count it. It is up to me to decide however I prefer breaking it down by each day.

There is a reason why I limit it to 1 win per participant only, I want them to choose the games that they really want to win and will likely play if won. You can also decide to guess RE4 as one of your guess for a day and be vague about which version, however you are leaving things up to me to decide if you do that.

I like to keep things a bit flexible for myself, things are going according to plan so far. If things are not going according to how I want to, I can always change things up. The thing I do want people to do is not to edit their guesses. If they need to they can make a new post with their updated guesses. This will help keep things more organize for me.

Hopefully this make more sense to you and why I decided to format the giveaway this way.

Also Congratulations to llamas and Unexposed2605 for winning on Day 2.

There was 2 participant who guess Hell is Us (Main Game for Day 2) and The Wheel Of Luck chose Unexposed2605. I decided to give away an additional game Heir of the Dog as well and llamas was the only one to guess it whether it is through luck or knowledge either way congratulations to both winners.
