ChrisGamer300: I just want Drakensang and Drakensang River of Time, take them of steam and make them drm free, no remaster required for me.
Why would you take them off anywhere? Surely the fact they're being sold somewhere is a good thing. Things like your entitlement is what is wrong with GOG. I want does not get. Even my small children knows that.
There was a Drakensang 2?

River of Time prequel
If I'm not confusing the game with something else, I'd like a remaster that addressed the very odd control scheme that made it really hard for me to get into the game.

I never tried the other ones in the series. I purchased a physical copy of River of Time and then realized that it was only in Spanish.

I'm going to guess that they are worth it?

I guess that "take them off" was used like "download them from"...
...some gaming magazines got them on DRM-free disk as well. E.g. Gamestar had Drakensang, PCGH RiverOfTime. (both german versions)

I thought they were very good, yes.
Regarding the things a remaster could update: Both games are using not alot more then a single core. Therefor they "feature" occasional hicups, it´s hard to get them to UltraHighFPS and loading times in ROT/AfdZ can be pretty huge. That could probably fixed with ease. On top of that, porting it to DX11 or even Vulkan (Multiplattform-Support?) would always be some good stuff as well as native 64-bit-version, resscale, TAA and HDR-Output. Oh, and the originals got some pretty limited LODs-Viewdistances, these could be tuned a lot with ease as well.

In general, I guess that the localization-stuff, Bigpoint having bought RadonLabs and DTP being gone doesn´t make it easy to give the games a rerelease.

No it was simply a poor choice of words, not really what i meant to say and ofc the game shouldn't be removed from steam because "reasons" but i would certainly want them drm free digitally and put on GOG which i think fits perfectly here given the older CRPG feel of it.

To only have it available on Steam does annoy me slightly.

Ah, sorry. I thought you meant "untying them from steam" with "making it DRM-free"...
...anyways, yes, it would be excellent fit for the GOG-portfolio.

The MMO got nothing to do with the original game despite some of the same guys working on it, same name, logo and engine. Got bashed to hell for that crap move when it was released...
