solseb: Command & Conquer: Generals with
Command & Conquer: Generals – Zero Hour on 4xCompactDisc in PL 2003

And, unskipabble

Command & Conquer: The First Decade on 2xDigital Versatile Disc in En 2006

EA™ got EA™,
and Steam™ got its Steam™
Epic got its Fortnite™
and We™ are ∆Dͭiͤsͣcͫs∆
I could get the Deluxe Edition of Generals over here too, for about 20 bucks. But refrained from doing so so far, as I already have The First Decade. Still on my watch list though.

Curious, you apparently got yourself the Polish version of the game? How so?

....fun in exotic language x D
There are many ways to source local txt/dubbing like
https://allegro.cz/ or https://aukro.cz or ebay or amazon or local exchange shops.
This C&c came from a local market : ) in the UK. I wanted to buy en version, but a man only had one in pl. lol and i love it.
It's the effect of people travelling, e.g. in Poland you can find Ukrainian games and books as 2–3 million people brought them with them. In the UK, 1 million Poles bring their books and language with them, and it is present in local markets.
I love that soil, cleaning it of trash every day x D I'm British as fcuk ^ still know polski and I would welcome any games in český too....

Aukro has become one of my main sources in the recent years.

There is also still a decent amount of e-shops over here that still have older games for sale.

I generally avoid anything that is not in either Czech or English. Some shops have for example a ton of games in German, but they'd be mostly useless to me. And as much as a I like collecting games, they also have to be at least a little bit interesting to me. I won't buy games that have a 0% chance of me ever playing them just for the sake of having them.

I am grateful for this insight. The language is not a problem. This German version is on the cover only, and when it comes to the installation of the game, angielski, český, or polski can be chosen, so as will be the game....

But the DRM set up by Ubisoft pushes a connection to nonexistent Uplay, making that game not usable....

You have enabled me to think, yes, thank you, that i would need to crack that game, exchange its DLLs, block the connection[that one would be easy when offline] and exchange the exec....
....and bravery or not, I don't want to crack the game i want to play....
....even more, I'm not going to use the Ubisoft launcher
....What's more.... I want it to be played by you ....

Also, a price for continuing to be a proud Offline GOGer. Good Offline Games: )

I'm not sure if Sony or Microsoft are profiting from the second-hand market.
They could push for more GOG.com releases. ^

....and I slept with the thought, and it was a good developing experience....

Retro Consoles! are definitely part of Offline Lifestyle! ^
....and I will collect them all! x D all the games I wanted to play before they die x D
Retro Consoles! Any console that is already "abandoned" by producers and publishers...
All games in steady versions! No online connection needed!
Legal emulation on PC! ....and Discs, of course : D

This month I've chosen PS2 and Xbox 360, but that's not all!
....by the way, the PC is mandatory, as emulated PS2 looks even better than the original, if your PC can handle it.... and that is the answer! Collect all beautiful offline installers available!

GeeOhGee installers for a seasoned player are superior to anything else....
then..
Everything that goes offline to fill the temporary (year or few;) gaps in PC releases until it appears here....

Retro Consoles are awesome. It was new yesterday, but now it's today.
All this....DRM.... Was introduced in uneven waves across different computers/consoles.
Knowing the Offline Path is a real Tai Chi KungFu Aikido Wrestling Acrobatic.... that the real Jedi must know to understand what the DRM is.... prepare yourself x D

We are essentially astronauts! Yh! We are taking our games to the Space™
Here are the disc-type consoles we can take with us, and i decided for:

"The numbers below represent the general consensus for official, physical releases.*
| Console | Launch Year | Company | Primary Medium | Est. Title Count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| **TurboGrafx-CD / CD-ROM²** | 1988 | NEC / Hudson Soft | CD-ROM | ~400 |
| **Commodore CDTV** | 1991 | Commodore | CD-ROM | ~80 |
| **Philips CD-i** | 1991 | Philips | CD-ROM | ~200 |
| **Sega CD / Mega-CD** | 1991 | Sega | CD-ROM | ~210 |
| **FM Towns Marty** | 1993 | Fujitsu | CD-ROM | ~300+ |
| **3DO Interactive Multiplayer** | 1993 | The 3DO Company | CD-ROM | ~280 |
| **Amiga CD32** | 1993 | Commodore | CD-ROM | ~175 |
| **Bandai Playdia** | 1994 | Bandai | CD-ROM | 39 |
| **Neo Geo CD** | 1994 | SNK | CD-ROM | 97 |
| **Sega Saturn** | 1994 | Sega | CD-ROM | ~1,000+ |
| **Sony PlayStation (PS1)** | 1994 | Sony | CD-ROM | ~3,000+ |
| **PC-FX** | 1994 | NEC | CD-ROM | 62 |
| **Atari Jaguar CD** | 1995 | Atari | CD-ROM | 11 |
| **Apple Bandai Pippin** | 1996 | Apple / Bandai | CD-ROM | ~80 |
| **Sega Dreamcast** | 1998 | Sega | GD-ROM (Proprietary 1GB) | ~600+ |
| **Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2)** | 2000 | Sony | DVD-ROM | ~4,000+ | *plus PS1 library
| **Nintendo GameCube** | 2001 | Nintendo | Mini-DVD (Proprietary 8cm) | ~650 |
| **Microsoft Xbox** | 2001 | Microsoft | DVD-ROM | ~990 |
| **Microsoft Xbox 360** | 2005 | Microsoft | DVD-ROM | ~2,100+ | *plus Xbox library
| **Nintendo Wii** | 2006 | Nintendo | Proprietary DVD | ~1,600+ |
| **Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3)** | 2006 | Sony | Blu-ray | ~2,200+ |
| **Nintendo Wii U** | 2012 | Nintendo | Proprietary High-Density | ~750 |
| **Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4)** | 2013 | Sony | Blu-ray | ~3,500+ | *almost retro console
| **Microsoft Xbox One** | 2013 | Microsoft | Blu-ray | ~3,000+ |
| **Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5)** | 2020 | Sony | Ultra HD Blu-ray | Thousands *(Active)* | * will see
| **Microsoft Xbox Series X** | 2020 | Microsoft | Ultra HD Blu-ray | Thousands *(Active)* | * will see
*(Note: For modern consoles like the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, the line between "disc" games and "digital-only" games is heavily blurred, and many modern physical discs simply act as a download key for the digital version. Because these consoles are still actively receiving new titles, their counts reach well into the multiple thousands.)* |"

So the future of retro is laser bright! (and full of micro consoles ^)
....and Offline Installers❣️❣️

Grand Theft Auto split out of Personal Computers and made its nest on the PlayStation platform....

The first of the two titles is Liberty City Stories, a ~New York GTA vibes expansion with the help of Rockstar Leeds' technology advantage and Rockstar New York local humour and marketing; this part shifted into a satirical media world for more amusement.....

....and now something else....
The Taito® game I could not live without! Or live less lolz

Theeee Puzzle Bobble™ PC CD 1996

This game treats my PC as a console! It is totally playable from the Disc, only saves to the hard drive.
I'm so happy having it ready to use again and again. When I was..... 94-97, some 10-13years old and above i used to pop in 1zl to the underground Wrocław video game saloon machines at the rail station along with Metal Slug 1.

Having it on my arcade station, keyboard at 90cm-1m and standing position, and screen a bit higher, reminds me that I've always been interested in video games.... ^ a lot : D
