Walter Koenig, best known for playing the roles of Pavel Chekov in Star Trek and Alfred Bester in Babylon 5, died today at the age of 90.

It is always sad to see someone famous go but he lived long and prospered.

I pray he is at peace in a better world.
Not many of the old StarTrek cast left still around this world , time moves so fast.

That is really sad :( I was watching a episode of Babylon 5 with him in it this morning. He did a great role on OG Star Trek as well.

He will be missed, but his Star Trek and Babylon 5 legacies will live long and prosper in our hearts.

Very sad news. He was fantastic in Babylon 5, honestly he was probably the best bad guy on the show, and that's saying a lot. And it couldn't be a character more different than Chekov, who in turn he made crazy likeable with relatively little actual screen time in the original Trek. He seemed like a very nice guy, and a genuine "fan of the fans", as he was involved in at least three different Star Trek fan productions, Of Gods and Men being particularly worth watching I think. I'm all the more glad for his final cameo in season 3 of Picard, having him voice Chekov's son who we now know is also the President of the Federation at that point in time is a nice goodbye.

Oh, and he also starred in an enjoyable enough sci-fi horror B movie Moontrap with Bruce Campbell, so you guys might want to check it out for Halloween if you can find it somewhere.

R.I.P.

Rest in peace. he seemed like such a good person and I really liked his characters in the series and the movies.

And now Patrick Steward also, another good one and an amazing presence as well is gone too.

A lot of good ones have left this year. As for these two, if there's is such a thing as reincarnation, may they find a place where they can continue their journey to delight new fans all over again. :)

I'm a huge fan of Isekai related shows and such lol. I hope those still around can enjoy their remaining time for as long as they can. :)

(I'd quote something at this point, but I'm bad at recalling those lol)
