Someone (or more people) answered to one of my posts, but I don`t know who, because everytime I try to load the "Forum Replies" page, the GoG bear appears.
So would the people who answered to my posts please be so kind and post a link to their answers here, so I can read them and answer them?
Thanks in advance for your great kindness. :-)
No posts in this topic were marked as the solution yet. If you can help, add your reply
It might as well just be bugged. I regularly have the purple dot there and no new answers and have to get rid of it by running a script in the browser console.

Also, keep trying with the forum replies. If you try enough times, you will get there eventually.
Spartacus!

Alternatively, I will play my nobody knows card (QI, tv show).

The website is totally broken. I have an unread from months, no way of knowing. Posts can get updated and replied to but not move to the top of the list (I.e. they are still way down and greyed out as if I changed, but have replies). The purple dot is a lottery. The forum replies just shows gog bears, and in fact I have had a lot of gog bears just accessing the forums or website last few days.

To note, I notice a certain galaxy developer/tester, forget now, had reappeared with some “interesting finds” just recently, which would suggest the end days are upon us. The website will be removed and galaxy will become the sole point of access.

why does it even matter
The thread would of been deleted before you had the chance to read/reply.
I never get the GOG bear if I click on"Forum replies", but since you have that problem - here's a suggestion:

If you're daily logged in on GOG, most probably the response to any of your comments is relatively new. That means (in most cases) you have written something within the last 24 hours, that someone felt the need to answer to.
So, simply go to "General Discussion" and look which thread within the last 24+ hours has a "star" behind it - there's what you looking for (the time frame varies of course, depending on how long you were offline) .
Alternatively, if you want to reduce the possible scale of your search, go to "community" --> "topics I've participated in", the chances are good that you find the response(s) you're looking for, there.

And finally...it is possible to have you see a purple dot for a forum reply, without that reply existing. I had that a few times.
Apparently, if someone quotes your comment but either deletes it again before they post their message, or if they edit your quote out of their comment, after they post it, you'll get the purple dot - but of course - the response because of which that dot appered, won't be there any longer.

refresh it about 3 to 5 times it will come up eventually!
Ha.I found it! It was an answer of the developer of Legends of Amberland in the LoA subforum.
Man, I hope there will be not more answeres hidden in some game specific forums before they fix the forum replies GoGbearing.

Wow, hope that doesn't come to pass. Galaxy is both absolutely confusing and terrible to navigate... and lacking even basic functionality. I'm not a "hater" and willingly adopted it... but... if the GOG website was shuttered for Galaxy anytime soon (without vast improvements to Galaxy), I'd probably just stop buying from GOG altogether. It's actually the community and the forum that keep me around GOG... certainly not Galaxy.

I don't usually remember exactly to whom I've replied in this forum like last week or so. So I have no idea if I've replied to you or not.

You all look the same to me.

Be better if GOG would just fix their broken forum. They put a band-aid on it years ago with the "Archive" forum. But really this is where the rubber meets the road. They need to fix it or shitcan it.

I recommend

Vanilla

The premium version of the forum software starts at an eye-watering $599, and is meant for enterprise-level customers. However, Vanilla’s free version offers more than enough features for regular forums.

Overall, this platform stands out from other options due to its high level of polish. The message boards you can create out of the box look fantastic, and you also get access to theme and plugin systems. However, there aren’t a lot of free plugin options, so you’re mostly stuck with the default features.

However, those features including everything you’ll need to set up a modern forum. Along with basic forum functionality, you’ll also get access to “Best Of” sections, an advanced text editor, post auto-saving, and more.

Pros:
Lets you set up stunning forums using basic theme and plugin systems.
Enables your users to use an advanced text editor, with plenty of options.
Auto-saves content as you write it.
Includes the option to create private groups for your users.
Cons:
The collection of free plugins and themes is not as extensive as you might expect.
Vanilla spotlights its premium software on its homepage. However, its free version is one of the best forum software options so far. It features an impressive level of polish, and if it weren’t for the small collection of free plugins, it might be a top pick.

Sounds good. And for a company like GoG the 599 $ for the premium version should be nothing.
Okay, it`s back again. Forum replies again lead to the GOG bear.

It never went away, cannot use that forum replies link at all, never loads. It’s just one of the many “features” which we will have to live with.
