birdbathscuba: I have an even dumber question but.. on PC, how do I open up the console? TYVM. I was looking at map of Skellige, and the POI, point of interest, is a "burned inn." not abandoned inn. The devs claim the ghosts in its cellar are not causing error. Running off, and coming back, does not seem to respawn flying/swimmers, the same as ground pounders. Siren Nest is and has been destroyed, some 100hrs ago. They do not regrow. Villagers wont claim emptied POI. Prolly not a major problem, but like the soldier figureen and Triss, I wanted to see it atleast once. Console commands may just do it. Worth a try. Ill do some googling and see if I can learn how console is opened.
It's very simple to enable the console -- you do NOT need a mod. CLOSE THE GAME. Open Windows Explorer to
<INSTALL LOCATION>..\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\
In the 'base' folder you will see a load of .ini files. Open up general.ini and make sure you add the console enable line so the entire ini look like this:
[General]
ConfigVersion=2
DBGConsoleOn=true
Save and start the game. Open the console with the tilde (~) key or (¬) key if you have a UK keyboard.
