Why we can't keep the old version of the game and chose not to update???
I do not care about graphics in special that the remaster make some changes that are not necesary...
Each time i try to play the game is forcing me to download the remaster version [i do not have enough space in my SSD].

If i can't keep the old version, i will download a high seas version and delete this one that i payed for !
As the hotshot boss of Steam said "piracy is a problem of bad service"...but in this case is more akward, as i payed for this game, not stealing it...

Turn OFF auto update.
In the game's page itself, as if you're about to play the game:
Click the little double slider bar looking symbol next to "PLAY"
Click "Manage Installation"
Click "Configure"
Uncheck the box that says "Automatically update to newest version"....

Also:
If you don't want ANY GAME auto-updating, click the GEAR ICON at the top left of the GOG launcher.
Click on "Game Features"
Uncheck the box next to "Auto-update games"....
Don't use Galaxy. Launch the game directly by double clicking witcher3.exe (somewhere in the bin directory or 1 of its subdirectory's in your installation folder).
Also from the beta channels in config you can switch to "classic" and this should permamently keep you on the old 1.32 patch - the option is there to keep playing on the old version.
to LukeHimself for some reason the game was still trying to update even that both options for update where turn off...this is why was so annoying.

to HertogJan, thanks is working like this.
