Demo is fantastic, ignore the droning
A tired complaint at this "Ai Slop~" crap whenever a dev or someone uses it to do artwork for their already existing artwork or enhancing old videos compressed into a game. This is not a Ai defense post, ANYWAY: more so focusing on the demo at hand. It takes what is required from QoL for Darkstone. Keeping what was already good about the game's original core, then moving to tweak and enhance visuals. Controls were overhauled, wonderfully, where it was needed. You are given your usual spread of class choices, and the ai for your partner in the game is decent at points, however goes full unga bunga causing unorganizing chaos. Otherwise the dog is gonna shine for sure within this demo and ignore the complainers of the ai and just play the demo, you are given a decent amount of content to play. Enjoy it!
