A misunderstood game.
I tried this game just because the review bombing was so hard, I really wanted to know if it was all true and check it for myself... And it turn out it was actually very good!
I know we are in a political cultural war, were some thins are consider political correctness and others don't, sometimes surf through internet feels like a witch hunt or travel through a land of mines, many movement from one side and the other make it that way.
Many people just heard what a mononeuronal influencer says to get more views and often skip titles like this that are quiet the opposite that people says.
IT'S NOT a game about CANCELLING PEOPLE THAT THINK DIFFERENT. Ok, it's a progressive game, that's true, there is a lot of body positivity, the characters are a grup of rejected that fight the system, they are super inclusive and bla bla bla, but it's not a game that rub it in you face or make this a lecture of how you have to act or what you have to think.
And no, IT'S NOT a game in favor of CANCEL CULTURE, nothing farther from the truth, this game is a CRITICISM of cancel culture and how much our words can hurt somebody, it's the danger of using words as weapons.
Now to the game itself, it a fun game with a nice writing, fun combat and a great art style (at least for me, I really like it), the soundtrack it's good too not at the level of Clair Obscur or Journey but it does a great job.
It's more 4 stars than 5, but the extra star is a tap on the back of the developers. You won't regret if you actually give this game a try with an open mind. It not like the reviews said. Good day, and in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night!
