High On Life: Complete Edition

A Refreshing Metroidvania Adventure

High On Life is a refreshing and funny spin on the Metroidvania genre. The humor is very Rick and Morty-esque, and it feels like a lot of care went into dialogue and funny NPC encounters, some of them can keep up rambling for what seems like forever, luckily it doesn't shy away from giving you the ability to murder some of these if they seem to annoying to you. One of its standout features is the creative arsenal of sentient weapons. Each gun comes with its own distinct personality and dialogue about what's going on. The actual combat is serviceable but what really sets this apart is the unique and creative world. I haven't seen any technical problems, so would definitely recommend!

Voidling Bound

Fun creature collector

The concept is simply yet a fun one. You link your mind with creatures, send them on missions where you return to the spaceship with more resources. So whats gained on returning: - Eggs with rarity tiers that can be hatched into new creatures - Resources for gaining permanent buffs for every creature of a race / space station improvements - Resources for evolving creatures - Experience for the specific creature going on the mission These progression systems ties into each other and provides a fun game-play loop. Trying out different evolutions feels exciting, but I wish there were more base creatures to evolve from. Overall it's easy to recommend
