Night City in 2026
Refunded the pre-order in 2020. Bought it again a year later, but after playing the first act, I left it sitting on my drive. Finally gave it another go in 2026 and liked it enough to buy the DLC.
Pros:
The city and atmosphere are the standout features. Very strong sense of place.
The tone of the missions and the different endings are well-executed.
Handling is decent. It’s not a simulator, but it works for getting around.
Cons:
Inventory management and weapon sorting are still clunky and tedious.
It took a long time to get here, but it's a solid experience now.
