Friends can easily see each other's achievements listed on the monthly table.
Start of the event is naturally connected to the 1st of the month,
ending on 30th November late at midnight UTC.

with some.... motivation from the achievement`collecting side of playing. ^

Nice idea for a GA, and finally achievements have a (temporary) meaning. :) However, not in: running on Linux / Heroic, achievements aren't tracked (contrary to game time). Galaxy also doesn't track achievements when running on W7, which I keep around (for the time being), as my fallback platform.

I'm not complaining, mind you, as it's a conscious decision I made as I could use W10 if I wanted to (I got an image of it rotting around here somewhere AFAIK). I simply consider the fee in terms of "privacy units" too steep.

Fair enough. ^ Maybe a special PC totally stripped of any private data, then connected to the internet with Windoors 10 or 11 and with Galaga. ^ It does sound like a console that way, but privacy can stay tip-top. That is how i carefully approach the subject after a long offline.

So I'll have to redo all my achievements here if I want to enter.

Thanks sol for an invite and a good motivation to play something at long last. I haven't played anything pretty much for half year, so my goal is just to stretch my legs a little and get one game to 100% completion. However if there is someone who really wants to give it their full effort, feel free to swap me out. Cheers! No idea if anything changed in the past 6months, but Heroic launcher tracked gog achievements just fine on Linux using the built-in Comet plugin the last time I've used it. Though version 0.2.0 doesn't have an overlay, thus no cheevo notifications. I remember that v0.3.0 supports notifications, but you have to install it manually and I've never bothered with that. Edit: Works for windows builds of games. I remember now that every time I've tried the native linux build, it wouldn't track them. So that might be your case too.
You could check it out in the settings, whether you have it enabled and if it works, join at least casually for the sport & fun like I do.

Seen your invite mostly due to galaxy messages somehow the messages DM didn't appear on the gog forum though.

I am really not sure if i would join this as i play games at my own pace.
Achievements are just a bonus and i don't plan installing any new games just for the achievements i think.
I do have like 23 games currently installed that have achievements but i already unlocked some.

So how does this work?
You probably count achievements from November 1 to November last somehow?

And i seriously want to finish Evenicle 2 game soon which doesn't have achievements.
Maybe if i would join i would try playing Mafia 2 de but then again from the 1tb or 930gb of space i only have like 370gb left of space and if in install Mafia 2 de maybe i would have not enough space that i need.
Or i would install other games with achievements smaller ones.
Anyway currently i am not in, unless i overthink it.

I guess the previous month i got 29 achievements so that isn't so much.

Hi Solseb, count me in. This summer i did not play too much (very hot), but this Halloween there are some games i would like to start, mostly scary related.

- Shadow Man Remastered *has achievements
- Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness *has achievements

With galaxy on win, or using Heroic or Relic on steamdeck the achievements are shown. Only that i play offline more of the times but i can use mobile data from time to time, so ready to join.
