Processed, once more with thanks! :)
My TODO list is now shrinking rapidly. I can imagine a beta test next week, and going live ~2 weeks after that? Depends a bit on how hard a particularly fancy feature will actually be to implement, and if it'll work well in practice.

Thank you. gogtrial34987, may your vision of the 'fancy' feature in question be unimpeded by reality. : )

These are now in as well - ty!
Urgh, I'm now in the phase where instead of ticking off TODO items, I keep getting ideas for large and incredibly worthwhile features to add, which I MUST absolutely and immediately implement before even thinking about going live if I want to make the first impression be actually good.

Problem is, for at least one or two of them, I'm probably right about that...

Just looked up the documentation, and this should be doable. At the cost of half a day of implementing and probably a week's worth of testing and tweaking...
Updated count of country-specific alternative products for sale: 20

- 2x Agony (DE, CN, AU; NSFW; game + soundtrack)
- Horizon Zero Dawn (JP)
- Mad Max (JP)
- Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days - Complete Edition (DE)
- Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (AU)
- 11x Devil May Cry 4 (JP; game + edition + bundle + 8x DLC)
- biohazard HD REMASTER (JP; alternative for Resident Evil HD REMASTER)
- FINAL FANTASY IX (JP)
- NEW Schizm II: Kameleon (PL; alternative for Mysterious Journey II: Chameleon)

edit: sorry, bad copy/paste for that last link. Corrected, so now it shows the intended result.

This was such a pain. When did math start to make my brain hurt, and not in a good way?
Still needs some clean up of the labels, and then putting in a pinch-zoom implementation for mobile, but the few days this is taking are definitely worth it: My price history graphs are now fully zoomable!
Hah, GOG released "Beyond These Stars" a day early, and then changed it to coming-soon. But of course once I'd seen it as released, it kept showing under "Available now". Fixed that by excluding all coming-soon games from showing there. Must remember to check in two days if my price history graph will correctly show a dot before the proper line starting tomorrow, or if it'll connect the two.
Argh! I had such a nice assumption about how discounts work across countries, and that has just now been invalidated by me noticing that for more than a year, "Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition - Unlock All Modes" has been having a 43% discount in China whenever it has a 28-31% discount in the rest of the world - but only for CNY prices, not for USD prices.

One of these decades I'm going to finally internalize that everything has an exception. Always. And no exceptions to that!

edit: Now that I've become aware of the exception, it's easy to find other games where the discount percentage for CNY is much higher. Since 2026-03-27, "Cats Hidden in Maple Hollow" has had a 67% discount whenever the rest of the world was 49-55%.

That's messed up. Was sure that discounts were always set as percentage, with only differences coming from the rounding for "psychological prices" in each currency (which could admittedly translate into a fair bit for very low values, like if an accurate conversion would be 0.45 and they make it 0.49). Doing it differently means that GOG also implemented a way to handle the exception. Or maybe somebody goes and edits in the CNY price manually whenever that discount applies. Wouldn't be surprised.
I'd like to request some features :

" This game is part of the following promo(s) [insert name of the promo(s) and their expiration date] "

- a budget tracker ( you can set the amount and add / remove games to your budget list)

- export game(s) from the budget tracker directly into your Gog shopping cart

I'm not a dev, but that really doesn't seem possible. (And, frankly, shouldn't be, for what should be obvious reasons.)

I did some initial looking into this recently, as with the upcoming game pages (currently being beta-tested \o/) I finally have a good place where I could expose the info. Storage requirements would be hefty, but more annoyingly, the prices API returns a promoId when you're logged in, but not when logged out. I've made some inquiries as to what's up with that. Not certain anything will come from it, but anyway, if I can make this work, I will (eventually).

I can see the use, but this is very gold-plated, and I doubt I'd make it a priority anywhere during the next two years.

I could offer a "put into cart" link for individual products, but not for more than one at a time. I've shied away from doing this so far as my price information is running behind by definition, so I feel that sending people to the game page where they can check the actual current price is a far wiser course of action.

Thank you .
I've put live an updated webfont containing two new icons for the game page - but as Font Squirrel is currently unusable (probably due to high load from AI scrapers?), I had to subset / minify it myself. If you notice anything "off" / different / wrong about any of the tiny icons on the site (all the little arrows and goodie icons), that might indicate I did something wrong, so I'd like to hear about it.
