The most important things are not "nice talks"; it is the actions we do changing the world, nothing else.
In the end... you seems to be "happy" but still did not buy it. I often experience this behavior... nice talks but no actions done.

The world is more often NOT the way i want it to be; yet i try to achieve happiness with just a few things that are going "the way i want it to be" and trying to enjoy it twice as much or above any rational sense.
Hey guys, thanks for this release!
I enjoyed CONTROL very much. Hope Resonant is as artistic and deep as CONTROL was.

How's GOG version compared to Steam's? Updates, bug fixes and so on?

It's the latest up to date version, of course

Judging by reviews and articles you'll be disappointed so best be prepared just encase

GOG.com: Now on GOG!
Amazing!
But Useless.

If you had in any way, shape, or form hinted that CONTROL Resonant was coming here I would have held off on purchasing it on Steam, but you didn't. So you missed out on a full price sale.

GOG probably wasn't allowed to. I mean, why wouldn't they advertise it was "coming soon" if they could?

So, while it's far from a perfect solution (most AAA and multiplayer games won't show up here) and understandably people don't want to spend their whole lives waiting for something to show up, I encourage people to hold out for GOG releases as long as they can, even years if possible. I'm a broken record about this but I'm unsure who all has seen my suggestion.
A lot of pre-order bonuses seem like junk not created by the original team. They're often overpowered gear that screw with the difficulty of the early game or really ugly cosmetics slapped together qukcky. I often felt like the 'proper' version of the game was without them.

Broken, of course.

Nobody's forcing you to use / equip them if you don't want them.

I really hope it's true in every case.

If some publisher ever reveals that GOG was offered an early announcement / pre-order opportunity but chose to shadow-drop it for some special occasion occasion instead... (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Judging by GOG offline installers' update schedule, I have no idea if this is irony or truth.

oof! Really? I haven't seen any reviews purposefully.
Enjoyed Control and Alan Wake so much that I want to experience their mastery with minimum spoilers exposure.

Better off waiting for fixes then.
Thanks everyone.

For all of GOG's faults and problems, I can't imagine GOG having the opportunity to prevent "I already bought it on Steam because I didn't know it was coming here" and not doing so, especially for a game with a AAA price. Why, potentially, miss out on a lot of money?
